The Broadcaster We can do MORE together!
My prayers go forth to all PCBA churches, as you prepare for the special Easter services and outreach opportunities
Thank you to Polk County Baptist Association Churches for participating in the We Love Polk County Week of Prayer and Love Offering again this year. Your faithful prayer and financial support make mission outreach efforts possible. If your church did not participate, but you have a desire to support Polk County Baptist Association missions, contact the Baptist Center for details.
PCBA Vision "We Can Do More Together to Do the Great Commission and Impact Lostness, starting in Polk County and going to the uttermost part of the earth, by doing local mission projects, sending mission teams, and hosting mission teams". The ministry and mission strategy of our association is based on this statement, and is set forth in the mission / ministry opportunities shared in our newsletter on a regular basis.
God offers service opportunities for His work, including ongoing opportunities to provide hands on mission service, in our association through the Baptist Center, Camp Agape, Food Bank, and H.E.L.P. Ministry, sports skills camps, Free Lunch in the Park (F.L.I.P. Ministry), as well as, direct mission / ministry service to the lost people of Polk County. Please remember I am available to assist in locating specific mission projects
custom designed for your gifts and the skillset of your church.
Plans are being finalized for summer mission projects in Polk County, but if you are aware of outreach needs in your community, please contact the Baptist Center, and we will try to match the needs with the skills of the mission teams.
Polk County Baptist Association Churches will soon be hosting VBS. Pray for the salvation of the boys and girls in VBS. VBS will be the first time some of these children have ever attended church and hear about Jesus.
Please continue to pray for the spiritual darkness in Polk County, for the salvation of our neighbors, friends, family, and the mission trips to and from Polk County.
On a personal note, I recently accepted the call to serve Benton Station Baptist Church as their Pastor. Thank you for prayers offered on our behalf, as we were seeking God’s will.
You can check out upcoming events in the PCBA calendar, the Broadcaster Announcement page, or at www.polkcountybaptist.org.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve the Lord, by serving Polk County Baptist churches.
Remember,
We Can Do More TOGETHER!
